There is only one Joint Entrance Examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission in all Sainik Schools in India and that entrance exam is called All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam. Eligibility to Apply for AISSEE Exam 2022
| For 6th class | Candidate age should be between minimum 10 years and maximum 12 years.Both boys and girls can apply to get admission in 6th class. |
| For 9th class | Candidate age should be between minimum 13 years and maximum 15 years.Candidate Must Have Passed 8th Class From A Recognized School Of Any Recognized Education Board Of India.Both boys and girls can also apply for admission in 9th class. |
AISSEE 2022 Syllabus/Exam Pattern
Multiple Choice Questions will be asked for both the written entrance exams and in both the above examinations, there will be no negative marking for wrong answer. Both the exams will be conducted through pen and paper at the exam centres. For admission in 6th class, a student of any language medium selected can apply for Sainik School located in any state.
The medium of 9th class All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination will be English only as the AISSEE entrance exam conducted for admission in 9th class is conducted in English medium only.In every Sainik School located in any state seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC and children of Defense Personnel/Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
